Welcome to 2022. Would you believe that this is our 40th virtual Show and Tell? I am pleased to report that you are still supplying me with lovely pictures to cheer all our days.
I don't want to brag, but I have not purchased any fabric or supplies, yet this year!
Anita, however, thought she might buy some batting at the connecting Threads Black Friday event.
This is her Christmas present to herself!
Anita's husband quilted her poinsettia quilt, just in time for Christmas.
Diane Hart made this quilt in Krista's One block Wonder class, back when we had classes at Poole Creek.
She gifted it to her neighbour for the neighbour's 88th birthday! See how excited she looks. She put it on her bed right away.
Johanne made this quilt top at a Poole Creek in-town retreat. She finished quilting it in time for a friend to give it as a Christmas to her daughter who is expecting a baby. Deadlines are wonderful things sometime.
I received a request for Christmas stockings from my son in Alberta. I was asked for something colourful, but not Christmas fabric. I dipped into my dwindling supply of Laurel Burch and found the perfect fabrics.
Don't tell him, but the white fabric is tone on tone Christmas fabric.
And this was too cute not to share.
This was a kit with the yarn and the Muppet head.
MaryAnn made throw cushions for her older grandchildren.
Her granddaughter's has a dancer on Zen Chic's Dance in Paris fabric.
Her grandson's is an avatar from Minecraft.
Nancy sent us a tip with her picture. She suggests hanging seasonal quilts using 3M Command Strips. After the season, they remove cleanly (at least she hopes so, we will ask for an update later).
Krista quilted this cute panel for her. Harry the cat approves.
In other good news, while I have been working on this, I noticed the Christmas present I had put in a safe place a month ago, and couldn't find at Christmas. So, my daughter in law gets to enjoy celebrate a bit longer!
That's all for this month. Show and Tell will be back February 7.
