March has turned into quite a tease, with spring one day and winter the next. Let's hope that April is a little less fickle.
We have a small number of pictures for you today, but I think you will enjoy them.
Anita says that this is a long overdue quilt for her daughter Amy, and Amy's husband Chris. You will have to ask her the story. The quilt was quilted by Krista.
Next, this is Carol McFee's Garden Log Cabin, designed by Ngaire Brooks from Australia.
Joy made this Ricky Tims wallhanging called Bending Tree. The pattern called for reverse applique, but Joy said she wasn't in the mood, so it is raw edge applique, instead.
I have been playing with scraps to make some small bags. The first is from a YouTube video that came up in my recommendations one day (sometimes the recommendations are right.)
Both bags are made from one piece of fabric and the zipper is added. The binding is also a scrap from a quilt binding.
I also made this drawstring bag, although I decided I liked is as a basket so I haven't inserted the drawstring.
I hope you are all happily sewing and will have lots of pictures for next month.
Our next show and Tell is April 30.
