The lazy, hazy days of summer are nearly over. I didn't spend a lot of time sewing. My sewing space is usually the hottest place in the house (great in winter, not so great in summer.) As well, I've been doing a lot of grandparenting.
Fortunately I did get a few pictures for our Show and Tell, so not everyone was as relaxed as me.
Helen Anderson finished these cuddle quilts when she was in Florida.
Judy Emond has made a couple more BQ Quilts.
She is also teaching a workshop on 3 yard quilts and made some samples.
I haven't been sewing but I have been knitting. My bin of fingering weight yarn wouldn't close anymore, so I decided I need to use a 100 gram ball or equivalent, every month. So far this year I have made 7 pairs of adult socks, 6 pairs of baby socks, and a shawl. The shawl was my July project.
I have 5 more days to finish my August project.Just a few more stripes to go.
Enjoy the last few summer days.
