Welcome back. Well, May didn't go quite the way any of us expected. I hope that everyone has managed to put most of their life back together after that historic storm.
MaryAnn and her husband went to see how their cottage had fared and discovered that their maple tree had become a woodpecker buffet.
That is certainly impressive.
Meanwhile, a few of our members have been busy.
Anita has managed to produce another quilt top from her leftovers.
Cathy Simpson is showing us her talents in a different medium. She did this coloured pencil drawing of her daughter at age 4. She is planning to frame it and give it to her daughter for her daughter's 50th birthday.
Diane Hart always wanted to do the BQ quilt, and last week she finished one. She also has the binding cut and prepared.
Helen Anderson completed two tops.
You may not believe this, but I actually finished a quilt. I made the top at a retreat in Cornwall, too long ago. While tidying this winter, I decided to finish it. The quilting was done by Krista.
MaryAnn has been preparing for summer, with shorts and sunhats. I love the monkey fabric.
A nice selection of projects this month.
Our next show and tell is July 4. Perhaps we can have some Canada themed projects for that one.
Kate
