Virtual Show and Tell - June 2025

This is my 78th Virtual Show and Tell.  Back in April of 2020, I decided that I needed to see other quilters' projects, to motivate me while we were stuck at home. So I asked you to send me pictures and stories to share. You did send your pictures. We have had theme days, and fabulous Christmas quilt shows.

Meanwhile, you kept my computer skills sharp as I learned how to open pictures in a variety of photo  formats, edit photos to make them fit , and how to manage a mailing list.

So, on Canada Day, 2025, we celebrate 5 years of show and tell on the web, with some more lovely quilts.

BTW, I gave Anita a prize for being the most steadfast supporter of show and tell. I think she only missed a couple of  times.

So, I start today, of course, with Anita.

This quilt is for her church, and she said that she discovered a mistake in the pattern, but was able to fix it so it worked.

Anita is on a mission to use all the fabric, so this quilt was made from her 2 1/2" strips. It was quilted by her husband, Jacob.

Carol finished her Christmas quilt. I think the spring is the best time to finish your Christmas quilts.  Hand applique.

Kamal pieced this top by hand from her scraps. Isn't it cute.

I managed to finish 2 bags this month. The first was a graduation gift for a young engineer. It is a Retreat bag , and I filled it with tools that I thought she would need in her new job.

The second is a phone clutch for my DIL. I started it two years ago, and finally finished it.

Lynda finished a HUGE Hawaiian applique quilt. If is all done by hand.

Because it is so large, Lynda said the biggest challenge was matching the batik fabric so it didn't look like it had been pieced.

I think that quilt is a perfect ending for our Show and Tell.
