Virtual Meeting - July 6

Well, the year is half gone. Does anyone know where it went?

Our thought for the day: A clean house is the sign of a broken sewing machine.

Tip of the week: For those of you who have purchased classes and have subscriptions to Bluprint (formerly Craftsy), they will not be closing. The assets of the company has been sold and access to you "forever" content will continue (at least for now). You can read more here:
https://www.mybluprint.com/

I guess you have all been partying this week with your social circle, because we only have a few quilts for this week. However, they are all lovely.

Janice Pound held a Canada Day quilt show in her yard. I am sure her neighbours enjoyed it.

Joy sent us a picture of her millennium quilt. Isn't this fabulous!

Kate made this quilt for my son while he was working in New Brunswick.

Diane Hart helped me figure out how to make a hanger for it.

He is now working as a paramedic in Alberta, and I think he hesitates to ask for another quilt for Alberta.

Finally, Pat Nyenhuis made a quilt for her great-neice, to celebrate Anna becoming the Head Page in the Canadian Senate. The quilt represents the floor of the Senate Chamber. Anna recently sent Pat a picture of the quilt in the Senate.

Our next "meeting" is July 20. See you all then.
