Virtual Meeting - January 4, 2021

Happy New Year! In case you haven't noticed, the Calendar on the Poole Creek web site has been updated. For the time being, those dates represent when we will do our virtual Show and Tell.  You are welcome to send your pictures at any time, and I will save them for our next Show and Tell.

Even though we are again in lock down, I am sure you are all finding ways to keep yourself busy. I know that many of you have noticed many local shops offer curbside pickup or delivery, so on the tiny chance that you might run out of fabric or other supplies, there is lots of "help" available. If you are interested, I can post a list of stores with web sites and phone numbers.

Meanwhile, a few ladies sent pictures for this week. I am sure you will enjoy them.

Beth Marshall finished a UFO.

Carol McFee calls this Yoko's Baskets.

Carol also sent this wonderful thread painting piece.

Chris Mitchler made a felted wool thread catcher.

Helen Elder-Anderson quilted this small piece for quilting practice (she found the top in my give away pile).

Janice Pound made a Gnome pillow for Christmas.

She also made a stocking for her granddaughter, Olivia.

Kate made a pouch for a friend, who was looking for something to carry her masks in. It, of course, has cats on it.

Marilyn did this frame loom weaving of a tree, a few years ago.

MaryAnn made a Minecraft quilt for her grandson. They started it as a home schooling project last spring and she finished it in time to give it to him for Christmas.

The back has a Giant Ender Dragon.

Our next show and Tell will be January 18.
