Virtual Meeting - February1, 2021

Welcome back! I hope you are staying in and staying warm.

Nancy sent us some links to some interesting videos, we can watch while at home.

Lisa Walton has a YouTube channel where she interviews quilters. Nancy  says she has enjoyed them.

That should keep you going for awhile.

Here is more inspiration to get you into your sewing space.

Anne would like us to know that she has a finish for 2021. She started this runner in 2018 and recently finish the binding.

Diane Hart has sent us her version of the Mystery Quilt from Kanata Guild.

Doreen made this quilt from fabrics she bought in Paducah.

Check out the custom quilting.

Janice Pound has a new granddaughter coming soon. she has finished the quilt top and it is off to be quilted.

Kate started this shawl in 2017, and finished it yesterday. It is done, though not perfect.

Marilyn bought the fabric and pattern for this quilt in Alaska. The pattern is called "Blanket Toss".

These are rug hooked designs based on paintings by Maud Lewis.

MaryAnn said that this was the first log cabin that she made, but I don't think it is a log cabin design.

That is all for this week.

Our next Show and Tell is February 22. Maybe we can have some red quilts, heart quilts, or maybe family quilts, since Family Day is in February.

Kate
