Virtual Meeting - March 29, 2021

Welcome to our 25th Virtual Show and Tell .

I guess many of you have been enjoying the lovely weather we had last week. I know that I did. However, it was not to last, so this week we will have to find our sunshine and warmth in our quilts.

We have a small collection for this week, but it is as lovely as ever.

Barb made this quilt for her granddaughter.

Carol McFee made the centre block for a William Morris quilt called Morning Glory. She calls her version Ahh Spring!

Carol also made a little sewing box and named it after a quilt shop in Ireland, called The Sewing Shed.

The pattern is by Yoko Saito.

Doreen experimented with paint to get the effect of reflections she wanted in this wall hanging. The quilting is by Beth van Wyngaarten.

Helen Elder Anderson received fabric from the stash of a lady giving up quilting. She made two quilt tops for the lady's grand nieces, using some of the precut strips from the stash.

Kate made another small pouch, this week. My daughter-in-law was looking for something to carry her masks in. I made a pouch with a pocket on the front.

I had some difficulty with the cranes misbehaving. The one on the front completely lost his head, and the one on the back decided to fly upside down.

Just a reminder that you can see a larger version of any of the pictures, by clicking on them.

That is all, for this week. Have a very safe and happy Easter.

Our next show and Tell is April 12.

Kate
